India hope that Pakistan will deliver the promises made with US

The Modi government is hoping that the promises made by Pakistan in US will be delivered soon.

"We have also read assurances on terrorism by Pakistan. I hope they deliver," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.

"Terrorism naturally comes to mind when talking about Pakistan. The US-Pak joint statement devotes much space to it," the MEA spokesperson added.

The external affairs ministry also said it was open to NSA-level talks as decided in Ufa.

The MEA statement comes a day after Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif committed to take "effective action against United Nations-designated terrorist individuals and entities, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and its affiliates, as per its international commitments and obligations.

The commitment, contained in a joint statement issued at the end of a meeting between US President Obama and Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif, came after Islamabad persuaded Washington to press India for talks, including on border tensions.

"We remain open to NSA-level talks (with Pak) as decided in Ufa," the MEA spokesperson said.

"Pak chooses to use terrorism as a instrument of state policy. India has always desired resolution of all issues bilaterally," the spokesperson said.

"It's Pak's internal matter who they appoint as their NSA, as far as we are concerned we are open to NSA level talks as decided in Ufa," the MEA said.

Government distribute 2 crore of LED bulbs, saves 1,000 crore a year

The Narendra Modi government's program to get consumers to replace less efficient CFL or incandescent lights with latest LED bulbs is gaining momentum, with the number of bulbs distributed crossing the 2-crore mark and generating annual savings of over Rs 1,000 crore.

Data available with the government showed that more than 2 crore subsidized LED bulbs had been distributed under the Domestic Efficient Lighting Program till Thursday evening, helping in daily energy savings of 73 lakh units, which translates into Rs 2.9 crore a day.

With the program gaining momentum, lighting giant Philips and other companies have shown interest in setting up manufacturing facility in the country given that the scale is suddenly looking much bigger than what they had originally anticipated. The government is looking to provide 77 crore bulbs by 2018.

"Since the order was small, parts of components are being imported. But now everyone is saying we want to manufacture in India," power minister Piyush Goyal told TOI. He said an earlier skepticism is giving way to genuine interest in the Indian market.

The DELP was launched by Modi on January 5. The scheme also fits well with the Modi government's strategy for climate talks since it is helping reduce the carbon footprint as well as reducing peak power demand by close to 700 MW through lower energy consumption.

Although some of the states had been slow off the block, they are now gaining pace. Among the states, Andhra Pradesh is currently way ahead of the pack with 65 lakh bulbs, followed by Delhi at a little under 34 lakh and Uttar Pradesh at 33 lakh. Guntur in Andhra appeared to be the top performing district in the country, with 18.6 lakh LED bulbs.

Goyal said hard bargain has seen bulb prices come down from Rs 310 for a 7W bulb to Rs 73 for a 9W bulb last month with "no compromise on technical aspects, or on the qualification criteria". The government is now looking to place an order for 10 crore bulbs, the minister said.

UP government to give Bachaan family Yash Bharti Award that cost aroung 1.5 lakh rupees per month

UP government is doing every possible thing to attract voters as they know there reputation and power is going to be effected in 2017 election in this series they have announced pension of 50k Rs for Big B,Jaya Bachan and Abhishek Bachan for whole life till SP is in power which is again a extra burden on the shoulders of UP people.

They name as Yash Bharti Samaan which is the highest honor that could be given in a state. Whose price is double the amount given to the freedom fighters and social workers as an award.

Now whenever the SP is in power bachaan family will get 50k pension per month. By comparing it with freedom fighters and there family they only get 20,129 Rs per month and unmarried and unemployed daughters of freedom fighters receive 4,770 a month.

This pension scheme for Yash Bharti recipient has also emerged as a most lucrative pension scheme.
A state whose per capital income is just over Rs. 40,000 should not be splurging a monthly pension to those who really not need. As this amount can be used for the unemployed and poor citizen of UP. This amount should be given to those awardees who are seriously fighting from financial situation.

Farmers that are in the terrible situation and facing the problem of draft and can't able to manage single time of food UP government should initiate some policy so that they can have one time food in a day instead of spending lakh of money in pension to those family that are known as giant families of India. Who are among the Top in the list of the richest people of India. Government can also spend this money in developing villages so that they can support in the serious problem of price rice of pearls and grains.

Big B the Bollywood giant is one of the strongest man on earth who is known world wide due to his humanity and kind nature. He is also active in following his social responsibility and has set various examples that show his activeness. Promoted Gujarat tourism without taking single penny that its self give a huge advantage to the Gujarat tourism sector without investing money in advertisement. So i personally think that Big B surely will not accept this pension as he know the condition of lower class people in UP.

UP's chief minister Akhilesh Yadav ruled out the possibility that artists, sportspersons or litterateurs will return their awards under an SP government. "Pension will be given to all recipients. The question of anyone being forced to return an award will not arise in Samajwadi regime," he said.

Daily Views of Earth Available on New NASA Website

NASA, On Monday has launched a new website
where we can see the rotating earth from our computers. These images are taken from the NASA camera one million miles from the deep space climate observatory.

This is again a tremendous work by NASA that make possible to see the area under which we are leaving from home. The site itself is a new scientific approach by NASA that are making things so easy in space that we are getting the best information from millions of mile distance.

ISRO, Indian space research organization is also performing extensively good and making there mission possible with cheap resource but covering many scientific laws of Physics which is again a good result for achieving things with scientific law rather than heavy investment and non-renewable resources. One of the Example for this technique is MARS MISSION that has been successfully launched by ISRO last year.

Once a day NASA will post at least a dozen new color images of Earth acquired from 12 to 36 hours earlier by NASA’s Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC). Each daily sequence of images will show the Earth as it rotates, thus revealing the whole globe over the course of a day. The new website also features an archive of EPIC images searchable by date and continent.

The primary objective of NOAA’s DSCOVR mission is to maintain the nation’s real-time solar wind monitoring capabilities, which are critical to the accuracy and lead time of space weather alerts and forecasts from NOAA. NASA has two Earth-observing instruments on the spacecraft. EPIC's images of Earth allow scientists to study daily variations over the entire globe in such features as vegetation, ozone, aerosols, and cloud height and reflectivity.

EPIC is a four megapixel CCD camera and telescope. The color Earth images are created by combining three separate single-color images to create a photographic-quality imageequivalent to a 12-megapixel camera. The camera takes a series of 10 images using different narrowband filters -- from ultraviolet to near infrared -- to produce a variety of science products. The red, green and blue channel images are used to create the color images. Each image is about 3 megabytes in size.

"The effective resolution of the DSCOVR EPIC camera is somewhere between 6.2 and 9.4 miles (10 and 15 kilometers)," said Adam Szabo, DSCOVR project scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland.

Since Earth is extremely bright in the darkness of space, EPIC has to take very short exposure images (20-100 milliseconds). The much fainter stars are not visible in the background as a result of the short exposure times.

The DSCOVR spacecraft orbits around the L1 Lagrange point directly between Earth and the sun. This orbit keeps the spacecraft near the L1 point and requires only occasional small maneuvers, but its orbit can vary from 4 to 15 degrees away from the sun-Earth line over several years.

EPIC was built by Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Center, in Palo Alto, California. Using an 11.8-inch (30-centimeter) telescope and 2048 x 2048 CCD detector, EPIC measures in the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared areas of the spectrum. The data from all 10 wavelengths are posted through a website hosted by the Atmospheric Science Data Center at NASA's Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia. All images are in the public domain.

NASA uses the vantage point of space to increase our understanding of our home planet, improve lives, and safeguard our future. NASA develops new ways to observe and study Earth's interconnected natural systems with long-term data records. The agency freely shares this unique knowledge and works with institutions around the world to gain new insights into how our planet is changing.

Prime Minister Modi at IDFC Bank Launch

With aim to support villagers in risky time, Prime Minister Modi launches IDFC Bank. Modi ji launched this bank with a aim to give potential growth to villagers they will get some support in there risky time. This is a good initiative by central government for helping farmers and villagers to educate, employed and to support in there bad times. A country can fight with price rise only when the base ground i.e villages of the country are strong and highly developed to support in the financial crisis of the country and moreover can fulfill the requirement by supplying good agriculture support.

PMO Tweets

We have never fully understood the potential of our villages. Our villages can be great growth centres: PM https://t.co/6ZHKdWtWuJ

— PMO India (@PMOIndia) October 19, 2015

Here are few points the Prime Minister highlighted:
  1. We have never fully understood the potential of our villages. Our villages can be great growth centres.
  2. Banking sector is seeing changes. Mobile banking is coming up.
  3. We are starting this from Madhya Pradesh & that too an area with many tribal communities.
  4. We have decided to bring improvements in the appointments at the top levels of the banks. This improves efficiency.
  5. Bad loans in the past few years is a problem but we can’t only cry about it. We are trying to solve this problem.

Importance and Significance of Hindutva

PM Narendra Modi has been giddily globetrotting to attract capital to our shores. As long as communal disturbances don’t become chronic, foreign investors will hardly be concerned—they are bothered only about profits.

Is the recent upsurge in religiosity and cultural nationalism a threat to the development agenda on the back of which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supposedly rode to power? Is the ruling party’s Hindutva ideology distracting attention away from the economy? Is the ‘good’ BJP being held hostage by ‘bad’ fringe elements in the Sangh Parivar?

Nothing could be further from the truth. The ruling party has never made any secret that, for them, Hindutva and economic development go hand in hand. The prime minister has made no bones about his cultural nationalism, to the extent of asserting that India had extraordinarily skilled plastic surgeons in ancient times. His speeches on cow protection are legendary. But it’s not just that BJP leaders have spent decades imbibing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideology. There are other reasons why a religious and nationalist ideology could be a big help in the development of capitalism in India.

It is an enormous task to change a country of peasants and petty producers and traders into a modern capitalist one. True, many countries in East Asia have made the transition within a generation. But in none of them did the transformation take place under democracy. The task in India is made all the more difficult because it is a society riven by caste, linguistic, religious and cultural fissures.

The crucial ingredient for economic development is capital accumulation. England did it through the enclosure of common land and by exploiting its colonies. The erstwhile Soviet Union expropriated surpluses from the kulaks. Present-day China does it by financial and other types of repression. India has traditionally done it by promising the masses the moon and passing all kinds of pro-poor legislation, while taking little interest in their implementation and by providing sops, including cheap land and other resources, to the corporate sector. And in areas far removed from the cities, there has always been outright exploitation.

But, after decades of democracy and empowerment of the backward castes, the masses can no longer be taken for granted. Aspirations have gone up. Consider the ongoing agitations by the Jats and the Patels, two relatively well-off communities. And unlike in China, the government cannot use force to subdue them, although it is trying. Promising development is easy, but delivering growth with jobs is not. All the more so when government spending has to be kept in check, lest we attract the baleful gaze of the rating agencies. The Congress party tried to buy off the masses with sops, but that didn’t work simply because the rest of the economy went into a tailspin and inflation went through the roof. The contradiction between capital accumulation and social welfare burst out into the open.

Faced with this situation, what can the country’s ruling classes do? The masses are not enamoured of free markets. But nationalism is another matter and has been used to good effect. Consider the whipping up of nationalist passions and the invocation of Confucian values by the Chinese government in its awesome effort to label capitalism red in tooth and claw as communism. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been a great admirer of the Chinese model, rather than the Western free market one.

Religion too has often been pressed into service. The Republican Party in the US has made good use of the religious right. Vladimir Putin has an alliance with the Russian Orthodox Church. These ideologies deflect attention from economic matters and paper over class conflict. In the US, workers have been so confused by the strategy that they have been content to see their share of GDP fall over decades.

In India, the ideology of Hindutva serves that purpose. It tries to paper over the cracks between the many fissures in Indian society. It tries to meld Hindu society together by pointing to a glorious past, sullied by the advent of the ‘other’, especially the Muslim and Christian ‘other’. It denies class and caste conflict. If the ruling party cannot fulfil its promises of material benefits, at least its ideology delivers psychological gains. It gives a sense of belonging to people who are seeing their traditional world fall apart and who are losing age-old moorings in society. It taps into resentment against a snooty liberal cosmopolitan elite, who have so far enjoyed the fruits of development. And if it helps the ruling party in its bid to win a majority in both houses of Parliament and in the major states, then it can overcome some of the restraints imposed by India’s democracy. The so-called ‘fringe’ is an inseparable part of this strategy.

Not that the government is neglecting the economy. That would hardly go down well with the elite, eager to plug into global circuits of accumulation. The prime minister has been giddily globetrotting to attract capital to our shores. As long as communal disturbances don’t become chronic, foreign investors will hardly be concerned—they are bothered only about profits.

But the government is unlikely to get quick results. The world economy is not in a good shape. The export engine of growth has shut down. The domestic corporate sector is in the doldrums. The banks are in a mess. A recent Credit Suisse study showed the richest 1% in India own 53% of the nation’s wealth, while the bottom half make do with a mere 4.1%. What better way to distract attention from these realities and buy time than by going in for a spot of ideological grandstanding now. And if it helps consolidate the Hindu vote in Bihar, so much the better.

Of course, whether we must pretend, as Lord Keynes put it, “that fair is foul and foul is fair; for foul is useful and fair is not”, is another debate altogether.

On International ground India is heading the economy and will surely contribute this success in world economy too. India to become fastest-growing economy in PM Narendra Modi government's 4th year: World Bank

India is set to become the fastest-growing big economy in the world in the fourth year of Narendra Modi's government, edging past China. It's set to clock a 7% rise in GDP in 2017 compared with 6.9% for bigger rival China, the World Bank said in its flagship publication, Global Economic Prospects.
India will recover to 6.4% in the current calendar year itself on the back of higher export growth and bolstered investor confidence with the election of a reform-minded government at the Center, according to the report.
Global growth is expected to rise moderately to 3.0% in 2015 from 2.6% in 2014 and further increase to 3.3% in 2017, the report said, pointing out that there will be significant divergence in trends and that the "oil price collapse will result in winners and losers".
It warned that risks to the outlook "remain tilted to the downside" because of weak global trade, financial market volatility as interest rates in major economies rise, strain on oil producers and a risk of prolonged stagflation or deflation in the euro area or Japan."In this uncertain economic environment, developing countries need to judiciously deploy their resources to support social programs with a laser-like focus on the poor and undertake structural reforms that invest in people," World Bank president Jim Yong Kim said in a statement.
"In India, export growth has been robust, and investor confidence has been bolstered by election of a reform-minded government. The current account deficit and elevated inflation—both persistent vulnerabilities—have declined considerably. Over the medium term, growth is expected to rise steadily to 7% as reforms begin to yield productivity gains. This is expected to benefit other countries in the region which receive remittances from India," the World Bank said in its report.
In an interview in Monday's ET, Kim had said India is one of the few bright spots along with the US in the world economy. It will also benefit from softer crude oil."Among st large middle-income countries that will benefit from lower oil prices is India, where growth is expected to accelerate to 6.4% this year (from 5.6% in 2014), rising to 7% in 2016-17," the statement said.
The new government has undertaken a raft of measures including liberalizing foreign direct investment in defence and insurance and opening up railways, passed ordinances to auction coal blocks and ease land acquisition to boost business sentiment and pump prime growth that witnessed decade lows of sub 5% in last two fiscal years-.Growth in 2014-15 is expected to recover and climb to 5.5%, according to forecasts.
The World Bank sees softening in oil prices as a window of opportunity for implementing subsidy and energy tax reforms in oil-importing countries such as India.India has already deregulated diesel prices and is looking to further reform subsidies after the expenditure management commission submits its report this month.
The report sees three key challenges for developing countries — monetary, benign cyclical environment and need for structural reforms."Developing countries face three major policy challenges.
First, monetary and exchange rate policies might have to adapt to the more normal (that is less easy) financial conditions that will eventually accompany the recovery in high-income countries. Second, some developing countries that face benign cyclical environments should rebuild fiscal space, which would allow them to use counter cyclical fiscal policy when needed.

Will India be next Superpower big question in past 60 year? But now answer is yes in future years

"Secularism is a term interpreted in many different ways by different people. For me,it has always been something very simple-putting India First."
India that is known as "Golden Bird" 100 years ago, but after the rule of Britishers India has lost all his shine. Then on 15th Aug 1947 India has started new journey with aim to re-install the title of "Golden Bird" but after Independence there are so many internal issues that has stopped the growth of the country. Some of the Internal issues that is still persisting in India is casteism which has divided the power of India in different sections of cast. One of the problem that also arise at that time is division of India into two different countries named India & Pakistan that is the result of Nehru-Gandhi ruling moreover being democratic we have adopted many of the Muslims that opt India for their livelihood. But Pakistan has not adopted Hindus as there citizen this is another big mistake done by Nehru-Gandhian's mentality.

So many laws has been made but proper implementation and management of those law is the biggest failure of Nehru government at that time. Biggest failure of the government which has divided the people on religion basis is change in marriage law of Hindu's while Muslim Nikha law remain same. This has shown clearly that government is biased for one religion.

After Independence one of the main factor that can't be neglected is the situation of wars that India has fought for there survival. That period also raised the new and Important question "Will India Survive?" . Major wars that India has fought in that Era are:

         Year                                                                        Allies                                        Opponents
  1. First Indo-Pak War (1947)                                     India                                          Pakistan
  2. Liberation of Dadra & Nagar Haveli (1951)          India                                          Portuguese
  3. Liberation of Goa (1961)                                        India                                          Portuguese
  4. Sino-Indian War (1961)                                          India                                          China
  5. Second Indo-Pakistan War (1965)                          India                                          Pakistan
  6. Chola Incident (1967)                                             India                                          China
  7. Third Indo-pak War (1971)                                    India                                          Pakistan
  8. Siachen Conflict (1984-2003)                                India                                          Pakistan
  9. Kargil War (1999)                                                  India                                          Pakistan
In these war India has loose lots of his wealth, power, citizen but in the end wars can't make you developed it always destroy you.

After this Era India is facing the biggest challenge of  leadership as congress has made India weaker and weaker. All the investment and government fund has been finished the situation arises where country has to put there gold on loan. Some of the major corruption frauds done are as follows:

                     Scandal                                   Year                                    Scope in INR
  1. 2G Scam                                             2008                                     176,000 Crore
  2. Common Wealth game scam             2010                                      70,000 Crore
