Narendra Modi Biography

Narendra Modi is best known for rising from humble beginnings to become prime minister of India.

Synopsis

Narendra Modi grew up poor in northern India, the son of a street merchant. He entered politics as a youth and quickly rose through the ranks of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a Hindu nationalist political party. In 2002, he was alleged to be responsible for the deaths of more than 1,000 Muslims during civil unrest, but he was later exonerated. In 2014 he was elected prime minister of India.

Early Life

Narendra Modi was born in the small town of Vadnagar, in northern Gujarat, India. His father was a street merchant who struggled to support the family. Young Narendra and his brother sold tea near a bus terminal to help out. Though an average students in school, Modi spent hours in the library and was known as a strong debater. In his early teens, he joined Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the student wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist political party.

A Life Dedicated to Politics

He dedicated his life to politics in Gujarat, joining the RSS in 1971. During the 1975-77 political crisis, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency, banning political organizations such as the RSS. Modi went underground and wrote a book, Sangharsh ma Gujarat(Gujarat in Emergency), which chronicles his experiences as a political fugitive. In 1978, Modi graduated from Delhi University with a degree in political science and completed his master’s work at Gujarat University in 1983.
In 1987, Narendra Modi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which stood for Hindu nationalism. His rise through the ranks was rapid, as he wisely chose mentors to further his career. He promoted privatization of businesses, small government and Hindu values. In 1995, Modi was elected BJP national secretary, a position from which he successfully helped settle internal leadership disputes, paving the way for BJP election victories in 1998.

The Gulbarg Massacre and Alleged Complicity

In February 2002, while Modi served as chief minister of Gujarat, a commuter train was attacked, allegedly by Muslims. In retaliation, an attack was carried out on the Muslim neighborhood of Gulbarg. Violence spread, and Modi imposed a curfew granting police shoot-to-kill orders. After peace was restored, Modi’s government was criticized for the harsh crackdown, and he was accused of allowing the killings of more than 1,000 Muslims. After two investigations contradicted one other, the Indian Supreme Court concluded there was no evidence Modi was at fault.
Narendra Modi was reelected chief minister of Gujarat in 2007 and 2012. Through those campaigns, Modi's hard-line Hinduism softened and he spoke more about economic growth. He is credited with bringing prosperity and development to Gujarat and is seen as a corrupt-free and efficient administrator. However, some say he has done little to alleviate poverty and improve living standards.

Elected Prime Minister

In June 2013, Modi was selected to head the BJP’s 2014 election campaign to the Lok Sabha (the lower house of India’s parliament), while a grassroots campaign was already in place to elect him prime minister. Modi campaigned hard, portraying himself as a pragmatic candidate capable of turning around India’s economy. In May 2014, he and his party were victorious, taking 282 of the 534 seats in the Lok Sabha. The victory marked a crushing defeat to the Indian National Congress, which had controlled Indian politics for most of the previous 60 years, and sent a message that India’s citizens were behind an agenda of radical change.

Jatt Thrills Haryana not for reservation but for hunger

Few days ago the journey of Haryana suddenly get paused when civilans of haryana started protest demanding reservation in OBC quota. Either government nor government official has a clue that mob will become so dangerous while this protest. The situation become too worst in some region of Haryana that government has to declare curfew in Hissar and rohtak. Civilians anger is so high that protest has been converted into violence now. Condition from hand of Haryana police has slipped completely so government has to request for Army from central government and soon home ministry
take action on this request as a result army has been deployed in Rohtak, Hissar, Murthal, Jhajjar, Jind, Bhiwani and Kaithal.

Day by day situation is getting worst and worst the civilians come for protest started voilence they started damaging public offices, police stations, schools and even the private shops. They started to burn commercial, public and personal vehicle of the people passing from there or parked on the road.

The mob has turned themself as terrorist whose aim is to spread terror in all region of haryana. They statrted killing local civilians throwing stone on the houses and kinapping the girls from car or from home and doing rape with them. In murthal the condition is so worse that group of people has kidnapped the foreigners girls and do gang rape with those girls there cloths and garments are found lying on the road in very damaged situation but non of the complain has been registered yet for the rape case.

After hearing all this there is a big question that come in mind is that is the way to protest for demanding some thing. Does the mob ever think about that they are only destroying there own property and only hampering there own people. There activities are not less than the activity performed by the terrorist. The situation there is looking like a civil war going on the streets rather than the protest. If they protest peacefully not voilently than it could be concidered as Voice for Equal Rights and the output should have been different but the protest they have done is full of voilence and intolerable activities.

They have no intimation tp protest they have intimation of lust, hunger due to which they have done robbery, killing and rapes. There is a live terror that has been seen on the Haryana road that is been seen in syeria and other countries. Many tourist that have come here for visiting India they have said that they will never come to India in future and will suggest other to not visit India.

On one hand our PM is giving his best effort to make India developed country but some of the communities have decided that they don't care about any of this thing they will do what they want and if they not get than they will spread terror on the roads. What impression has been gone for this type of voilence on international stage. Narendra Modi has to attend various development meetings in USA and other countries what actualy they will answer for these incident have you ever thought about this?

Complaning PM that he is not working he is not doing good job but have you ever analyse what you are contributing to nation. If you can't contribute just be silent but not spread voilence that can hamper India's image.

In the last i would like to say that this protest that turn into voilence is not for reservation it is politicaly motivated protest that is only done for hunger.

Anti-National Slogan in JNU are highly politically motivated slogan

"JNU is organization of India where Indians study if you are interested in performing anti-national activity than surrender your citizenship than we will show you who we are"

Shameful protest by JNU Indian students who are mocking there voice against there own country only for the political motivation. They are brought up in this country even though they have faith and kindness for the persons that are destroying the unity and integrity of the country. Only with aim of getting media and political limelight they are disrespecting there country. These students should be punished severely to set the examples for other anti-nationalist gangs. There citizenship should be retrain and should be kept behind the bars.

Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India is devoting his whole power to bring India recognize on international stage on the same contrary these students are showing disgrace to his work. After long time we have a PM that is enforcing all his energy in building India even though some politically motivated people destroying the environment and creating condition that is effecting the image of country on International ground. On one hand modiji is busy in attracting investors towards India to improve the growth, employment rate of India on other hand opposition is playing such dirty politics using face of students to create unsuitable environment for Modi government to work.

They have also taken the advantage of fire in #MakeInIndia event to for there political benefit and try to attack Narendra Modi ji but there strategy completely fails so they tried another strategy by creating anti-national seen in JNU. This is seen that opposition create some discrepancy just before the session of Loksabha starts so that they could take benefit of these situation to stop government to pass important and development bills. They can't directly oppose these bills in Rajya Sabha as there face will be publicized so they have created this type of nonsense to effect the parliamentary session.

Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal both are working on the same note to work anti as per the government is doing so that there chance to come in the next election could increase if they succeed in slowing the pace of development in Modi ji tenure. But people of India are not blind they understand each and every aspect going in India. I will appreciate the confidence of our PM that they are continuously busy in development planning rather than distracting them in these internal issue that are been created politically to make situation critical for narendra modi to work. Now time has come that we all have to raise voice against these opposition party that are wasting time and resource of the country and also impacting the development growth of the country. We should raise our voice against these Anti-nationalist gangs because we are Indians and no one has right to abuse my country in front of us. We should take strict action for these anti-national gangs. There degree should be cancelled they have no right to study in India if they don't have respect for there country. There name should be cut from the list of student and they should not be entertained with any of the placement policy in India.

India is growing don't dare to create inappropriate conditions that effect the growth. World is looking with shining eyes towards India. Policies, Management and Laws have to be strictly followed to transform India in era of transformation. Soon we are standing with super powers so broader your thinking and come up from these politically motivated issues.

"If you are Indians than be united if not than you are member of opposition"

Source: Ministry of Home Affairs Get the data

White house top official confirms that ISI has hand in pathankot attack

Pakistan's powerful intelligence agency ISI is behind the attack on Pathankot airbase in Punjab using a terrorist group it created 15 years ago, a former top White House official has said.

Bruce Riedel, who worked in the National Security Council of the White House and was among the few present at the Bill Clinton-Nawaz Sharif meeting in 1999 during Kargil war, said the attack is designed to prevent any detente between India and Pakistan after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's surprise Christmas Day visit to Pakistan.

In an article in the Daily Beast, Riedel said the attacks in Pathankot and on the Indian consulate in Mazar-e Sharif in northern Afghanistan was the handiwork of Pakistani terror group Jaish-e-Muhammad which the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) created 15 years ago.

He quoted "well-informed press and other knowledgeable sources" for his assessment.

He said the ISI is under the generals' command and is composed of army officers, so the spies are controlled by the Pakistani army, which justifies its large budget and nuclear weapons program by citing the Indian menace.

"Any diminution in tensions with India might risk the army's lock on its control of Pakistan's national security policy. The army continues to distinguish between 'good' terrorists like JeM and LeT and 'bad' terrorists like the Pakistani Taliban, despite decades of lectures from American leaders," he said.

Before Pathankot attack Jihadi's made dry run in Pakistan airbase sources say

The jehadi terrorists who attacked Pathankot air base had conducted mocks drills at an airbase in Pakistan, in what could confirm the active collaboration of the Pak military and ISI in the fidayeen assault.

Highly-placed intelligence sources said they have come to the chilling determination on the basis of intelligence intercepts and from contacts in jehadi groups. They said the extensive training session at one of the Pakistani airbases included several dry runs of breaching the security perimeter: a lesson the terrorists put to lethal use when they managed to enter the Pathankot base.

The use of weapons, including UBLs, or under barrel guns- improvised versions of AK -47 assault rifles which can be used as mortar launchers- point to the rigorous planning which went into the attack that has set back the prospect of a fresh effort at normalization of ties.

The precise information gleaned from intercepts and contacts within Jaish's local collaborators, according to sources, set the tone for Narendra Modi's conversation with Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday afternoon, with the PM citing the evidence that links the terrorist attack to Pakistan.

Sources said when Modi asked his Pakistani counterpart to swiftly deliver on his promise of co-operation, he meant prompt action against the seven jehadi terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad.

According to sources, the PM told Shaif about the evidence NSA Ajit Doval has shared with his Pakistani counterpart Naseer Khan Janjua about the "Gang of 7" which includes JeM founder Maulana Masood Azhar and his younger brother Mufti Abdur Rauf Asghar.

Doval's list also includes Maulana Ashfaq and Haji Shakqur (some channels have introduced him as Hafiz Ahmad Shaqur), leading Jaish operatives from Bahawalpur who played a key role in engineering the attack on the IAF station.

When contacted, Doval declined to confirm that he had passed on to Janjua the names of Pathankot plotters along with precise details like passport numbers, phone numbers and residential addresses.

Others on his list are Jaan Ali Kasif of village Dosirah in Charsada district and Saifullah and Iftikhar, both from Shakargarh.

Intercepts with Indian agencies have identified Kasif, who carries Pakistani passport no SV- 1797281, as the trainer of the group.

The specific details came amid speculation that Indian security forces may have captured alive at least one of the fidayeen raider or penetrated local collaborators of Jaish.

Korea Constructs Road That Wirelessly Charges Moving Electric Buses

People often think of switching to battery operated vehicles, but it becomes a nightmare for the drivers to look at the low battery sign on the dashboard with no means to recharge it again.
Maybe there is a way to release this fear. What if battery-operated electric cars work far better and don’t have to lug around huge and expensive batteries?
The researchers at Korea’s Advanced Institute of Science and Technology have developed a technology to solve both the conundrums. They have created first-of-its-kind on-line electric vehicle (OLEV) system, that can recharge electric cars or buses while they are on the go.
In the city of Gumi, South Korea, a seven-and-a-half-mile stretch of asphalt roadway has been constructed with power sources periodically embedded in the road. As a bus approaches and leaves, these power sources connect to the grid and are turned on and off selectively. According to KAIST, only 5% to 15% of the already existing road needs to be rebuild to make it a wireless charger.
The batteries used in the buses are almost third the size of a normal electric car battery, yet the buses don’t need to stop for charging and are more cost effective. This technology being eco-friendly can curb the increasing carbon level, hence solving many pollutions related health issues.
