How GST Will Change the Face of Indian Economy

The GST roll out will prove to be a revolutionary step and has potential to transform the "fiscal architecture" of the government
Indian truck drivers clock an average of 280 km per day, World average is 400 km per day and USA average is 700 km  The under performance of Indian truckers has less to do with bad roads and less fancy trucks and more about prevailing archaic laws.Truck drivers in India spend 60 per cent of their time off roads negotiating check posts and toll plazas 650-odd check posts and 11 categories of taxes on the road transport sector in India.Slow movement of trucks  leads to productivity loss. If the distance covered goes up by 20% per day, Indian truck productivity would improve by 12%.Higher productivity would cut the need for buffer stocks; reduce the loss of perishable goods, cut down the need for many warehouses, etc.Analysts say the implementation of the goods and services tax (GST) could provide the kind of productivity boost illustrated above.
The benefits of GST:Unified market: The GST will cut down the large number of taxes imposed by the central government (eg. central VAT or excise duty, services tax, central sales tax on inter-state sales, etc.) and states (VAT on sales, entertainment tax, luxury tax and octroi and entry taxes levied by municipalities). This will lead to the creation of a unified market, which would facilitate seamless movement of goods across states and reduce the transaction cost of businesses.

To break the wall between GST,Narendra Modi invites Ex-PM and Sonia on 'Chai pe charcha'

Today, Narendra Modi has taken one more good initiative to have discussion with the previous government leaders on the important Good & Service Tax bill. According to Times news Modi ji has invited Mr. Manmohan Singh (Ex PM) along with Sonia Gandhi (President of Congress Party) for Chai pe Charcha so that he could take them in confidence for passing this bill in assembly.

Moreover, Narendra Modi is ready to speak in favour of GST in assembly session as he has taken all foreign investors in confidence that he is going to ease the path for service tax for investing in India. In Lok sabha the neutral voice for having tax not more than 18%. It has also been opposed on given liability to state government of 1% hike. State government has given the liability to demand 1% more than the GST tax rate. Arun jaitley said "We have absolutely no hesitation even at the level of prime minister we have never it in past and we don't have it(now)".

Initiative taken by Prime minister modi can give some way to have bill passed without any restriction in Lok Sabha as well as in Rajya Sabha because path of bill is smooth in Lok Sabha as BJP has majority there but if opposition will not support than it will find a deadlock in Rajya Sabha. Today's Chai Pe charcha with opposition leaders could find the way for the bill. FDI is very much dependent on this bill and Modi government will surely look for all possible doors to pass this bill and will apply in 2016 in India. After that there is a big hope for foreign direct investment in India for development.

I am in favour of this bill and every that bill that could increase the speed of development in India

Police has brutally beaten ABVP members and give free hold to the ruling party to do booth capturing and casting invalid votes.

BJP leaders and MP from Meerut Mr. Rajendra Agarwal along with Mayor of the city Mr. Harikant Ahaluvaliya and BJP Meerut Mahanagar President Mr. Rituraj Jain reach the place and took the charge in opposing the police activity, police behavior to these representative is also very shameful and disguised police has used some harsh words that are not tolerable and is not the way to speak to city representatives. There is a huge gathering out of the police station to protest regarding this unlawful behavior of UP police. Police authority have broken all the bars to give indirect support to the ruling party members so to protest against this activity BJP senior leaders Rajendra Aggarwal (Sitting MP from meerut), Rituraj Jain (current meerut mahanagar BJP president), Amit Agarwal (Ex MLA), Arun vashishth (Vyapari neta), Dr Charan Singh lisari (state president BJP anusuchit morcha),Somendra tomar (National minister of BJP yuva morcha) along with following members of BJP have shown there protest for this activity. Still they are there and will be protesting till SP city except his mistake in the incident and will have action on the people that are behind this action.

Beating student to such extent which can cause serious injuries is not any lawful activity some serious action should be taken by police high authority without taking ruling party in consideration. This will be a black day in history of meerut because in influence of some political pressure students that are working hard for there organisation are beaten as they are criminals or some activists.

"Police department is made to protect people not to injured them in any political influence"
